While reading about hurricanes, heat domes, and other planetary revenge, it occurred to me that my car (a convertible) may not be ready to safely transport my pup to safety. But what to choose? How does someone buy a car with their dog in mind?
A recent report recommends the top cars for dogs, based on factors such as 'you can wash it out with a hose' and 'doors won't scratch.' In case you are wondering, here are the top three cars:
Jeep Wrangler "wash it down with a hose"
Land Rover Discovery "ford small streams up to 3 feet deep"
Toyota Rav4 Hybrid "wide cargo opening to fit a big crate"
Now, we are looking around for those fancy webbing covers to add further internal protection. It needs to match our quilted seat cover. I wonder if these cars offer accessories and upgrades? Yeah, probably.
Say What?!

Experts recommend quality sleep. For one woman, that meant her dreams became shopping carts! A British woman landed about $4,000 in credit card debt from shopping in her sleep.
In nocturnal shopping, someone shops in their sleep without full awareness, similar to sleepwalking. This condition is rare but often is linked to sleep disorders or the side effects of certain medications.
Some days I think my brain isn't firing on all cylinders... maybe it's just waiting until I sleep (we'll go with that). This condition highlights how truly complex the human brain is, even able to perform intricate tasks when not fully conscious.

The role of stem cells in in treating dog diseases is barking up the right tree. Stem cell therapy involves the use of stem cells to replace, repair, or regenerate damaged tissues or organs. For canine health, this type of therapy is used to treat arthritis and other degenerative diseases.
Some conditions that may be improved by stem cell therapy include:
Orthopedic conditions - Conditions like arthritis, hip dysplasia, and intervertebral disease.
Joint repair - Notably arthritis. Stem cells from the dog's fat tissue are injected into the affected joints to help reduce the inflammation and promote the repair of cartilage and tissues.
Tendon and ligament injuries - Stem cell therapy can help by promoting the regeneration of damaged tissues, leading to faster recovery.
It's encouraging that stem cell therapy can help reduce inflammation, promote regeneration of damaged tissues, and be minimally invasive for the dog. Significantly improving mobility and reducing pain is a good thing.
Research continues regarding other potential uses and benefits of stem cell therapy in dogs, such as for neurological disorders and autoimmune diseases. Glass raised to science. Cheers, and keep going!
